Description of operation:
The device consists of an unwinding unit where the zip reel is placed. Through idler wheels, the zip reaches a gear wheel that drives a “dispenser” shaft. On this shaft, pre-cut zip pieces are positioned for application onto the heat-sealed film.

The zip length is set via the operator panel. The zip pieces are held on the dispenser shaft by vacuum generated from a pump. The dispenser rotation is powered by a servomotor.

Before being applied to the film, the zip ends are welded by two controlled thermo rods, preventing displacement during the passage through the roller conveyor and forming tube. Transversal welding bars weld the zip onto the upper part of the bag.

Operator panel:
Allows viewing and setting operational data, such as temperature, welding time, and zip length. A selector enables activating or deactivating the zip applicator, allowing the production of bags with or without zips.

Zip types:
The device is preset to work with multiple types of zip. All dispensers and pulleys are interchangeable depending on the zip type used.
